Radio-controlled model of the ABRAMS M 1 a2 tank, considered one of the most famous tanks of the US armed forces.
This model was designed and built at the Tank Design Bureau in the City of Volgograd. This project has not been fully completed.
All the details are visible in the photo. The body is made of very strong and durable fiberglass. Torsion bar suspension. Inside the body of the tank There is tension adjustment of the tracks.
The detailing of the tank has gone to scale and from the original scale.
The tank tracks of the caterpillar are as detailed as possible and are made of rubber and steel.
The tank is driven by two powerful 12-volt high-torque brushed motors. Voltage regulators are required for 60-80 amperes as for brushed motors on scale models such as Traxxas and HPI.
A servo drive is installed to rotate the tower. A separate motor is installed to raise the muzzle of the tank.
The tank deserves creative and engineering attention, the main components are made in it. Lighting and radio control will need to be completed.
The tank may need a good and high quality airbrush painting.
