    Description

    Super-Rare Virgin 1967 Corvette head.
    This is a 107cc closed chamber
    Hi-Perf
    head with a casting date of August 24 1967.
    This head was factory rated for 425 horsepower.
    No cracks.  Good threads.  No visible damage.
    No sign that it has ever been milled.
    This part number was used from 1965 - 1970 on the 427 Corvette and the 396 Camaro.
    To find an unmolested 840 head from 1967 is unusual.
    This head is over 50 years old.  Most of the Hi-Performance heads from this period have been ran to death.
    Many of the surviving heads have been heavily milled, ported too thin and generally abused.
    By contrast, this head has had a very sheltered life, spending most of its years carefully crated on a shelf.
    I  have had this head for a long time, waiting to build a proper tri-power 427.
    Its time to let it go to a new home where it can be enjoyed.
