Description
My Wheels are carefully TRIMMED by hand and by me to make the nip from the “tree” as imperceptible as possible! You get what you pay for.48 Brand New Repro wheels !!! I typically sell these wheels 12 at a time but I am experimenting with this sale that will accommodate 12 cars! I had these wheels professionally made by a plastics company that reverse-engineered them and then made sure that the "chrome" would be present on the tip of the center of the wheel. Mattel used a mold for the plastic that injected through this center. I did not so that it wouldn't leave a "tit" that the chrome wouldn't adhere to. This method worked perfectly! I DO NOT have any other sizes of wheels. ONLY these Medium size bearing type wheels. They fit TIGHTLY! Be sure to use care removing the old wheel(s) and while pushing these on, use something to put "behind" the bearing while pushing so that you don't ruin the axle. Mattel did not have tight tolerances on the sizes of the bearings. Some of them (there are mostly white colored, but also pinkish, and orange) are slightly different diameter so I made these wheels so that they would "fit" them all by tapering slightly the hole. (See last photo). The oversize bearings from Mattel make these wheels fits very tightly. The regular ones fit "snugly". I made 50,000 wheels (the minimum required by the plastic company) so I have plenty available. The next to last picture is how I get them from the manufacturer. Still on the trees. I carefully trim them prior to sale. If this amount of (48) wheels is too many........please see my other auction (Buy-it-Now) for 12 wheels.

I am in debt up to my ears on this project. I feel that this price is the best on the internet or anywhere you find repro wheels. The Chrome is that of a HONG KONG wheel so if replacing wheels on a US Redline, keep that in mind. These wheels look way better than those dull-silver-painted US wheels anyway! I show replacing a front wheel on a Custom Camaro because those smaller wheels allow me to show the tool in use better without the tire getting in the way of the photo. My MEDIUM BEARING style wheels install the exact same way.

SHOWN is a Redline Custom El Dorado with these wheels installed. Also a SUPER closeup of one of the wheels on the car. I also show a "Tune-up" wrench (tool) that is super useful in swapping these wheels. I do not sell the tools however.
