Complete Cyonics / JDSU multi-line argon ion laser system. We've tested this and despite it's age it is performing like new. In light mode it produces 50mW at a tube current of only 7.5A. In current mode, it produces 120mW at the maximum tube current of 11.0A. We'll ship the system configured for light mode. We'll provide instructions for running the laser in current mode to the buyer on the condition that they acknowledge that running the laser at max current will drastically reduce it's lifetime.
This is a multi-line laser producing 7 or more wavelengths ranging from 458 nm violet to 514nm green with the majority of the power in the 488nm cyan and 514nm green wavelengths. It is a complete system ready to plug-and-play. You get the laser head with integral cooling fan and matching 2201-40MLA power supply with interlock plug. The power supply has a knob that is used to adjust the power from about 10mW at idle (4A tube current) to the full 50mW. Note that the AC cord is fairly short so you will likely need to use an extension cord.
