Beautiful Sony STR-1800 Vintage AM-FM Stereo Receiver Tuner
The unit, part of my personal collection. is in excellent working and cosmetic condition. I would describe it as in mint cosmetic condition but for a very minor rough edge on small portions the bottom of side panels. Marantz style blue led lights have been retrofitted. I have it paired with Bose 4.2 speakers and it sounds great with a soft mellow tone. LP’s played on my Thorens turntable sound exceptional as well as CDs played played through the Tape input. The receiver was made in Japan and visible in some of the photos are posts with wrapped wiring which was used instead of soldering. Wire wrapping is extremely reliable and said to produce higher fidelity because of the multiple contact points.
