    Description

    Counter-stamped 1908D Barber quarter.  The initials JCM have been punched onto the obverse face of the coin.  Based on the wear of the "M" and the darkness inside the punch lines, I estimate that the initials were punched long ago.
    From a large set of counter-stamped coins that I have collected for many years.
    Base coin is in good condition on both faces.   90% silver
