Towable steel-deck platform trucks have a drawbar and hitch for attaching the trucks to towing equipment or connecting them to other towable platform trucks in powered towing applications. Also known as caster steer trailers, the trucks have rear swivel casters that allow them to maneuver around curves and obstacles. They also have a handle that can be used to manually push or pull them, and the handle can be removed to make room for oversized objects. Towable steel-deck platform trucks are used in warehouses, manufacturing plants, and other industrial applications where items need to be picked with a platform cart and then moved to another area using powered towing equipment. They have low decks that reduce the distance heavy or bulky materials must be lifted during loading and unloading.
