DENON AVR-97, 5.1 CH POWERFUL SWEET SOUNDING SUPER CLEAN & WORKS GREAT
MADE IN JAPAN. THIS IS A PRECISION AUDIO COMPONENT AV SURROUND RECIEVER SUPER CLEAN AND WORKING GREAT.
NO STICKY, GUMMY, DIRTY ANYTHING and to my eyes I don't see a mark on it but check out the many pictures to make your own determination. Please note I did pick up some reflections in some of the pictures, these are not imperfections.
Please note: This belonged to my mother's husband, a collector who passed and this will be one of many items of his collection we will be selling. We will do our best to answer any questions but note that none of these items were ours.

No dusty, dirty, sticky or gummy anything.
Buy with some confidence that this AVR was tested to the best of my ability without an owners manual and was used for a month plus with no issues and this is what I came up with. Powers right up and has a beautiful bluish color easy to read display. All speaker outputs, AM/FM, also all RCA's on audio and video inputs,
and outputs,
sub-out
and
pre-outs,
as well as the optical and co-axial outputs and the
phono output
and all appear to function as they should as did all the volume, bass, treble, and balance knobs, all push buttons, selector controls buttons on the front of the unit working as they should. When using the video ins and outs on DVD playbacks it presented a nice clear and vibrant picture. If he had a remote for this I am unable to find at this time but if I do I will pass it along.
This Denon is loaded with options on setups and effects. which I was unable to go through in any great depth without an owners manual, there is a learning curve for me, but somebody else might be much more familiar on the setup options and effects. This powerful I believe 500 watt AVR is built like a tank and heavy.
I tried this Denon with some of the different speakers (Canton and Monitor Audio he had hooked up to other units (Onkyo and Technics) and was there a difference in sound on this Denon in my opinion
defiantly yes, it will bring out the best of your speakers.
Compared to some of the other AVRs he has and I have listened to, it presented a powerful, sweet, clean sound. This one definately has some sparkle. I was unable to test headphone jack I have no headphones. Again, this is a super clean Denon with no marks to my eyes. Please see the many pictures to make your own determination. Again, this Denon is built like a tank and a good size and heavy AVR.
