issued directly to movie theaters across the U.S. to promote films that were recorded using the Dolby Digital technology.
Dolby Labs have the prestigious reputations of being considered the pioneer for developing the technology, engineering and optimizing process to ensure the highest audio quality experience when enjoying your favorite movies over the years.
I acquired this Dolby Digital Movie Theater Banner just prior to a major renovation of a theater close to where I worked. It was issued in the late 1990's and hung/used into the early 2000's. Due to it being used, some of the gold in the lettering and logo is showing some wear (please see photos). This, however can be restored by any company that's experienced in silk screen printing. Other than that,
the banner is in EXCELLENT CONDITION. There are NO RIPS OR TEARS to the black canvas and there are 4 brass gromets in each corner for hanging purposes. The banner measures approximately 36"H x 93"W.
I NEVER DISPLAYED OR HUNG THE BANNER. It's been stored folded for the last 20 years and comes from a smoke-free, pet-free and climate controlled environment.
