This flasher unit PCB allows you to add flashing LED beacons to your static or radio controlled models. You can use it for a single LED beacon or dual LED beacons.

The PCB comes with connectors and housings so that you can easily connect to the circuit in your model. You will need to buy LEDs and resistors separately.
You need to use a current limiting resistor to limit the current to 15 mA if your supply voltage is greater than the LED forward voltage. You can calculate the resistance using the following formula:
Resistor Value (
Ω) = (Supply Voltage (V) - LED Forward Voltage (V))/Desired Current (A)
It is pretty common to get 470 Ohm resistors with LEDs when you buy them from ebay sellers as that is a high enough resistance to ensure you are below 15 mA at 5 V for most LEDs.
