USED Procunier Model 3000 Lead Screw Tapping Machine (Prohos)

This is Procunier's Model #3 or 3000A Lead Screw Tapping Machine, it is a Series 29053 with a Serial Number of B9255 and best of all, made in the USA in Florida!  Can be run manually or be set up to tap automatically.  It is currently set up to tap a 18 TPI thread and that lead screw assembly is installed, but 22 fractional threads of 5 to 64 TPI & 22 metric threads of .40mm to 2.5mm can be tapped.  You just purchase the lead screw assembly for your specific thread and switch out that assembly in about 5 to 10 minutes and then the appropriate tap collet would also be required.  And many, many other options and features are also available.  It has a tapping capacity in steel of #8 to 1/2", then #8 to 3/4" in soft material.  Leeson Motor is 208-230-460 Volt, 3-phase, prewired to 460-volt and 20 to 90 PSI of air pressure is also required.  Throat depth of 9-1/4" from center of spindle to front of column, then 30" wide x 21" deep table working surface and that table is then 36" x 27" overall.  Maximum spindle to table clearance is 25" and from top of table to the floor is 35", overall height is 80".  For more information on this unit, go to Procunier's website at
