I only had it on its end for about 5 minutes while I took the pics. It was stored for many years laying down from the amount of dust that was on it. I believe the previous owner was a professor at a university.  When I tilt it from side to side it does sound like I hear something moving. Doesn't sound like glass but I can't say for sure.
